On January 10, 2009, Hal Finney, the first recipient of Bitcoin, famously tweeted “Running Bitcoin,” marking a significant event in Bitcoin history. Sixteen years later, his wife Fran Finney led the 4th Annual Running Bitcoin Challenge, an event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for ALS, a disease Hal battled.
