Indian town adopts Avalanche blockchain for tamper-proof land records

The Dantewada District Administration, in a significant move, digitized over 700,000 land records, dating back to the 1950s, and secured them on the Avalanche blockchain. This initiative aims to enhance transparency, accessibility, and prevent tampering with land governance.

Kiosks have been installed across the districts for public access to land records. The district collector emphasized the initiative’s importance, and LegitDoc’s collaboration allows verification of various government forms and contracts over the blockchain.
