Nebraska enforces new crypto ATM rules to protect consumers

On March 12, Governor Jim Pillen signed Legislative Bill 609, known as the Controllable Electronic Record Fraud Prevention Act, which aims to improve consumer protections in cryptocurrency transactions.

The legislation requires operators to disclose fees, risks, and implement anti-fraud measures. It reflects Nebraska’s dedication to fostering a secure crypto environment and consumer transparency.
