SEC and Gemini ask to pause lawsuit to explore ‘potential resolution’

The SEC and Gemini have requested a 60-day delay in their lawsuit, aiming to explore potential resolutions to their legal disputes. Both parties expect that a pause will aid productive negotiations without causing harm to involved parties.

Genesis, a crypto lending firm, previously settled with the SEC for 21 million USD. However, Gemini’s case against the SEC remains active, despite recent indications that the SEC is scaling back its enforcement actions against some other crypto entities.
