In March 2025, EVNGENCO3 produced 2.84 billion kWh of electricity, achieving 106.7% of the plan. During the peak dry season from March to July 2025, the total planned electricity output is 13.84 billion kWh, requiring about 1.75 million tons of coal. EVNGENCO3 is proactively coordinating with partners to secure coal supply and has stocked sufficient fuel for electricity production. Additionally, gas-fired plants are closely monitoring gas supply to ensure optimal power generation. Hydropower plants such as Buon Kuop and Vinh Son are also preparing operational plans according to hydrological conditions. Leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and EVN acknowledged EVNGENCO3’s efforts in preparing supply and maintaining equipment to ensure electricity output during the peak dry season in 2025.
