Despite Tightening Alcohol Regulations, Local Beer Company Reports Record Profits, EPS Near 44,000 VND, Continuously Paying Dividends of 100%-200%

CTCP Beer and Beverage Ha Long (stock code: HLB) reported a net revenue of 1.573 trillion VND in 2024, a 7% increase compared to the previous year. The company achieved a net profit of nearly 135 billion VND, up 21%, with an EPS of 43,585 VND, among the highest in the market. HLB’s total assets reached nearly 863 billion VND, with 66% in cash. The company has consistently paid high dividends, with 90% in 2023 and 150% in 2022. Moving forward, the beer industry faces many challenges, including regulations on blood alcohol levels and a potential increase in special consumption tax reaching 100% by 2026.
