Recently, FPT shares have dropped 18% from 152,500 VND to 124,600 VND after a significant rise from mid-2023. This decline comes as many large investment funds pull out, making FPT less attractive even though it was once a top pick. Major funds like Dragon Capital still hold a large proportion of FPT, but their performance will be affected by the continuous price drop. In contrast, ACB, under Chairman Tran Hung Huy, is emerging as a promising option, attracting the attention of many investment funds, including VinaCapital and SSIAM. As ACB and other bank stocks gain popularity in the portfolios of funds, FPT may face significant challenges ahead.
