On March 13, Viglacera Ha Long JSC (VHL) reported the resignation of 5 out of 7 board members, including Tran Hong Quang, Nham Sy Tien, Nguyen Huu Gam, Tran Thanh, and Ngo Thanh Tung, citing personal reasons. Tran Hong Quang stepped down as Chairman, with Nguyen Duc Luyen replacing him from March 11, 2025. Following these resignations, VHL’s board reduced to 2 members. Among those resigning, Tran Thanh remains the general director. VHL is a manufacturer of clay roof tiles, part of Viglacera Corporation with a 50.48% stake. In 2024, VHL reported a net loss of 61 billion VND due to a sluggish construction materials market and costs from storm Yagi. For 2025, VHL targets 1,249 billion VND in revenue and a pre-tax profit of 1.55 billion VND, although its shares remain on alert.
