A brewery company plans to increase dividend to 50% in cash

Sài Gòn – Miền Tây Brewery Corporation (ticker: WSB) plans to hold its annual general meeting (AGM) on March 31, 2025, in Can Tho. In the meeting documents, the company announced a cash dividend plan of 50% for 2024, higher than the initial plan of 40%, amounting to about 73 billion VND. The 2025 projected revenue is over 1,007 billion VND, with net profit around 82 billion VND. WSB will optimize production, manage raw materials, and save energy to increase profits. Its parent company, Sabeco, holds 84.46% of WSB shares and is expected to receive about 62 billion VND in dividends. Since 2010, WSB has maintained cash dividends ranging from 15-50%. The AGM will also consider dismissing a board member and electing a new candidate. WSB’s stock price is currently 53,000 VND per share.
