Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam reported that he was foreclosed on nearly 10.7 million shares of BCG of Bamboo Capital Group in the trading session on March 3. After the transaction, he owned 81 million shares, equivalent to 9.21% of the charter capital, still the largest shareholder. Nearly 5.3 million BCG shares were also foreclosed from NHN LLC, reducing the total shares held by Mr. Nam’s group to 133.8 million shares, or 15.2% of the capital. The wife of BCG’s Vice Chairman also sold 3.4 million shares, and her husband plans to sell 6.5 million shares from March 12. The wave of foreclosures came after Mr. Nam was prosecuted, causing BCG’s stock price to plummet. He resigned on April 27, 2024, and no longer holds any positions at the company. The company is committed to transparent information disclosure to protect shareholder rights. Several securities firms announced margin cuts on BCG shares, leading to the foreclosure.
