MVIS Vietnam Local Index has announced the portfolio restructuring for Q1/2025, adding a new stock, NAB from Nam Á Bank, increasing the total number of stocks to 46. As of March 13, the VNM ETF’s scale reached over 414 million USD. The fund plans to buy 8.1 million shares of SIP and approximately 3.2 million shares of HPG, while significantly reducing the proportion of stocks VIC (3 million shares), VHM (2 million shares), and SHB (2.8 million shares). Notably, the VNM ETF switched to MVIS Vietnam Local Index from March 17, 2023, facing a net withdrawal of nearly 1.5 trillion VND in 2024. FTSE Vietnam ETF also adjusted its portfolio similarly, without removing any stocks, with net assets reaching 261 million USD, focusing on stocks such as HPG, VHM, VCB, VIC, VNM. Both funds will complete their portfolio restructuring next week.
