From Teaming Up to Competing in the 35,000 Billion VND Bid, Vinaconex Faces Coteccons Again in a New 4,000 Billion VND Tender at Long Thanh Airport

The Vietnam Airport Corporation (ACV) held an online bidding for Package No. 7.8 at Long Thanh Airport, worth 4,120 billion VND, with a duration of 16 months. Three joint ventures participated: 1) Coteccons joint venture (CTD) bidding 3,844 billion VND; 2) Thang Long joint venture (Vinaconex) bidding 3,984 billion VND; 3) Harita joint venture (Hancorp) with 4,038 billion VND. Coteccons offered the lowest price but had the longest schedule, while Vinaconex had the advantage in execution speed. Previously, Coteccons and Vinaconex competed for the major 35,000 billion VND tender for Long Thanh Airport, where Vinaconex was part of the Vietur joint venture that won the bid. Notably, Vinaconex switched from the Hoa Lu joint venture to Vietur just before the results announcement.
