Nguyen Khanh Trinh, Chairman of Clever Group (ADG), has registered to buy an additional 71,492 shares, aiming to increase his stake to 28.32%. He cites the reason for the purchase as ‘price is cheap’ with ADG shares currently at 10,500 VND/share. The transaction is set to occur from March 12 to April 10, 2025, with Trinh expected to spend around 758 million VND. Meanwhile, foreign shareholder FSN Asia Private Limited (Singapore) continues to sell, having registered to sell nearly 4.7 million ADG shares, reducing their ownership from 38.75% to 16.84% due to a change in business strategy. This marks the second time this year that the fund has attempted to sell ADG shares. In December 2023, they sold 884,100 shares. Clever Group, established in 2008, primarily operates in advertising but has also diversified into real estate and finance. However, revenues and profits have been declining in recent years. In 2024, the company recorded a net profit of 18 billion VND, the lowest since 2017.
