In the 2025 annual report, Novaland Chairman Bui Thanh Nhon shared the company’s development strategy, emphasizing corporate reputation and responsibility. Despite ongoing challenges, he asserted that 2025 will be a year of rejuvenation and breakthrough for Novaland, aiming not just to survive but to thrive. After recording a historic loss of 4,351 billion VND in 2024, Novaland’s total assets declined, burdened by enormous debt. By the end of 2024, the company had total liabilities of 190,473 billion VND, leading to cash flow issues. Legal obstacles in projects like Aqua City pose the biggest challenge. However, from the second quarter of 2025, some projects are expected to resolve these issues, aiding recovery. The forecast for 2025 suggests a minimum loss of 12 billion VND and a maximum of 688 billion VND, which is still seen as an improvement over the previous year.
