Rang Dong Holding (RDP) is facing the risk of delisting due to serious violations of information disclosure obligations. They recorded a loss of 143 billion VND in 2023 and a cumulative loss of 206 billion VND by the end of the year. The company has faced financial difficulties since mid-2024, with all necessary financial reports not submitted on time. The company leadership has stated that operations were suspended, and most employees have resigned. The entire Board of Directors resigned in February 2025, leading to a lack of management. Established in 1960, Rang Dong Holding was once one of the largest plastic companies in Vietnam, but has lost a lawsuit to a foreign shareholder and must pay 156 billion VND. The company has also reported significant losses in 2024, with revenue decreasing by 44% compared to the same period last year. Liabilities have reached 1,717 billion VND, putting Rang Dong Holding on the verge of bankruptcy.
