On May 25, 2023, the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Exploration Service Joint Stock Company (PVD) approved a resolution granting the contract to lease the THOR drilling rig to support operations in Lot 09.1. This rig will assist in increasing oil and gas production for the project while ensuring safety and efficiency standards during extraction. The lease contract has a specified duration and detailed financial terms agreed upon by both parties to be in line with current production and market demands. Approving this contract is a significant step in PVD’s long-term development strategy, aimed at consolidating its position in the oil and gas services industry.
