KBC shares of Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation have sharply decreased by 36% since early April, resulting in a market capitalization loss of over 6.5 trillion VND. On April 15, 2025, the share price dropped to 22,100 VND/share. This decline is linked to tariff information and the overall downturn in the industrial real estate sector. Chairman Dang Thanh Tam expressed regret for former shareholders in an extraordinary general meeting, emphasizing large contracts in the future. KBC targets revenue of 10 trillion VND for 2025, but reported only 423 billion VND in profit for 2024, down more than 80% from the previous year. Tam acknowledged that revenues fell short of the plan due to project delays. However, KBC has recently been awarded licenses for major projects in Hai Duong and signed an agreement with a technology corporation to expand investment.
