Tan Son Nhat’s T3 terminal will be inaugurated on April 19, 2025, to relieve pressure from the overloaded T1 terminal. Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air will move all their domestic flights to T3. Specifically, from April 19, flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi will operate at T3, with all other domestic routes moving there by April 28, except for a few routes still at T1. Airlines like Bamboo Airways, Vietravel Airlines, Pacific Airlines will remain at T1. T3 promises to improve check-in processes and ease pressure on T1. Passengers are advised to check their gate information on tickets and arrive at least two hours before their flight. A free shuttle bus service will be provided to assist movement between terminals.
