OCB Shareholders’ Meeting: Raise charter capital to 26.631 trillion VND this year, implement cash dividend distribution

At the annual shareholders’ meeting on April 22, 2025, Orient Commercial Bank (OCB) announced plans to increase its charter capital to 26.631 trillion VND and distribute a cash dividend of 7%, totaling 15% in benefits for shareholders. In 2024, OCB recorded total assets growth of 17%, reaching 280.712 trillion VND, with a pre-tax profit of 4.006 trillion VND, a 230% increase compared to the previous quarter. The bank aims for total assets of 316.779 trillion VND and a pre-tax profit growth of 33% to 5.338 trillion VND in 2025. As global economic conditions stabilize, OCB’s credit growth is approximately 20%, reaffirming its role in sustainable development with the “Green Bank” strategy. Notably, OCB will continue to strengthen its presence in the SME and individual customer segments, expanding suitable financial products. The shareholders’ meeting also approved the election of additional members to the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board for the 2025-2030 term to enhance management efficiency.
