VIMID collaborates with SINOTRUK to build a truck assembly plant in Vietnam

VIMID and SINOTRUK have signed a strategic partnership to establish a truck assembly plant at Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Zone in Hai Phong. The project has a scale of 10,000 trucks/year with a total investment of $50 million. This marks a significant step in Vietnam’s truck manufacturing industry, showcasing long-term commitments to international collaboration and sustainable development goals. The plant will not only assemble but also engage deeply in the production value chain, meeting domestic market demands. Mãn Thận Cương, Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, expressed confidence in Vietnam’s market potential and the long-standing partnership with VIMID. The project is expected to boost exports and improve VIMID’s production capabilities, affirming the company’s position in the truck industry. VIMID will proactively develop technology and enhance product quality, alongside approving cash dividends and listing shares on Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange, opening new growth opportunities for investors.
