Comparing the profits in the first quarter of 2025 between Hoang Anh Gia Lai and Dabaco

Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAG) and Dabaco Vietnam (DBC) both reported favorable profits in Q1 2025. HAG’s net revenue reached nearly 1,379.8 billion VND, an increase of 11.2% year-on-year, with a gross profit of approximately 564.5 billion VND, up 13.3%. After tax, HAG’s net profit was 360.4 billion VND, up 59.2%. Total assets of HAG are valued at over 23,478.5 billion VND, with total liabilities exceeding 13,735.2 billion VND.

In contrast, Dabaco reported net revenue of nearly 3,609.4 billion VND, an increase of 11% compared to the previous year. Dabaco’s gross profit was nearly 817.2 billion VND, up 134.3%. Net profit reached approximately 508.3 billion VND, which is seven times higher than Q1 2024. Dabaco’s total assets amounted to over 14,411 billion VND, with total liabilities decreasing slightly by 2.4% to over 7,176.6 billion VND.
