“Bad breach of ethics” — Musk echoes crypto execs in backlash against WSJ

Elon Musk condemned The Wall Street Journal for a report he calls a “deliberately false” ethical breach regarding Tesla’s CEO position. He emphasized that no recruitment contact had occurred, receiving support from Tesla’s board chair.

Amid accusations related to Musk’s political affiliations, Tesla witnessed a significant profit drop of 71% and a market value loss exceeding 800 billion USD this year, raising concerns about the brand’s reputation.

Musk’s criticisms align with other crypto executives, including Binance’s Zhao, who also condemned the WSJ’s coverage for misrepresenting the digital asset industry, highlighting a growing sentiment against the publication’s perceived bias.
