Hoa Sen Group Refutes Binh Duong Tax Department on its Subsidiary’s 762 Million VND Tax Delay

Hoa Sen Group’s subsidiary, Tôn Hoa Sen LLC, has refuted claims from the Binh Duong Tax Department regarding an outstanding tax debt of 762 million VND. The group asserts that after reviewing their tax records, there are no outstanding taxes owed. They have submitted a request to the Tax Department to adjust any discrepancies. However, in April, the company received another notification regarding the same tax debt. CEO Vu Văn Thanh emphasized the need to correct this information to protect the company’s reputation and reassure shareholders. Tôn Hoa Sen, a significant member of the Hoa Sen Group, was established in 2007 and specializes in cold-rolled steel production. According to their recent financial report, for the first six months of fiscal year 2024-2025, the group achieved a production volume of 946,648 tons, with revenue of 18,674 billion VND and a net profit after tax of 371 billion VND, exceeding profit targets.
