Ledger’s Discord server was compromised on May 11, 2025, by a hacker who accessed a moderator’s account to post phishing links aimed at stealing users’ seed phrases. Quick action was taken to remove the compromised account and the malicious bot.
Following the attack, Ledger enhanced its security protocols to prevent future breaches and addressed user concerns regarding moderator privileges being misused during the incident.
