Charles Hoskinson revealed that Cardano’s Midnight sidechain might enable users to conduct free transactions via NFTs. These NFTs would serve as access passes, allowing a set number of fee-free transactions each day, attracting users accustomed to no-cost services from Web2 platforms.
Active development is ongoing for Midnight, fostering community engagement through hackathons. A recent survey indicated that 12% of participants are blockchain developers, with 39% being seasoned pros and 46% falling under somewhat experienced, emphasizing diverse developer involvement.
