Bank “brings” G-Dragon to Vietnam: Just 3 months, recorded total revenue of 15.6 trillion VND

Recently, VPBank announced the organization of the international music festival VPBank K-Star Spark in Vietnam 2025, featuring G-Dragon from the renowned South Korean group Big Bang, returning to Vietnam after 12 years. An hour after the announcement, VPBank confirmed the participation of CL, the former leader of 2NE1. On May 13, VPB shares increased by over 2%, with trading volume reaching 27.7 million units. In the first quarter of 2025, VPBank recorded total revenue of 15.6 trillion VND, up 16.1% year-on-year, with pre-tax profit reaching 5.015 trillion VND, a 20% increase compared to the previous year. The bank maintains a non-performing loan ratio of under 3% and total consolidated assets of over 994 trillion VND. Moreover, VPBank plans to achieve a profit of 25.27 trillion VND in 2025, a 26% rise compared to 2024.
