Bitstamp has successfully achieved a CASP license under the EU’s MiCA regulations. Authorized by Luxembourg’s CSSF, this license permits Bitstamp to offer regulated crypto services across Europe, enhancing its trading platform for both retail and institutional investors.
Under MiCA, Bitstamp must adhere to strict AML and KYC protocols, ensuring client protection and transparency. This development aligns with EU efforts to unify crypto regulations and provides Bitstamp the ability to expand its offerings across EU member states.
