Stock Corporation SSI has spent approximately 450 billion VND to purchase a 19-story office building in Hanoi. According to its Q1 2024 financial report, SSI recorded a Construction in Progress expense of about 388.8 billion VND, which includes the cost of purchasing the building. The My Dinh Pearl Office Tower is located near the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Convention Center, covering a total area of about 14 hectares and providing approximately 9,600 square meters of office space.
SSI is completing the building with a goal to put it into operation in early 2026, aiming to meet the expansion needs of its Hanoi branch after nearly 23 years of operation. SSI does not plan to engage in real estate business; however, if unused space remains, the company may lease it out. Besides expanding its domestic real estate investment activities, SSI has also invested internationally, with recorded rental revenue from real estate exceeding 8.1 billion VND in 2024.
