On the evening of May 16, Petrolimex Insurance Corporation (PJICO) announced the termination of Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hương Giang from the position of CEO. Mr. Phạm Thanh Hải, Chairman of the Board, will take over as the legal representative of PJICO. Additionally, PJICO also terminated Mr. Trần Hoài Nam from the position of Deputy CEO. This leadership change surprised many in the insurance industry. Established in 1995, PJICO has three main shareholders: Petrolimex, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, and Vietcombank, focusing on motor vehicle, aviation, maritime, and health insurance. Its revenue for 2024 is projected to reach nearly 5,280 billion VND, a 9% increase from 2023, with a pre-tax profit of over 290 billion VND. PJICO aims for a revenue of about 5,175 billion VND in 2025 and a minimum dividend payout ratio of 12%.
