SSI Securities Corporation (ticker: SSI) announced the issuance of 10 million ESOP shares for 307 employees at a price of 10,000 VND per share. This issuance represents 0.51% of the current shares outstanding and is set to take place from May 21 to May 30, 2025. 50% of the shares will be restricted from transfer for 2 years, while the remaining will be restricted for 3 years. The purpose of this issuance is to strengthen the bond between the company and its employees and to increase working capital, with the charter capital expected to rise to 19.718 trillion VND. In the allocation list, Chairman Nguyen Duy Hung will purchase the most shares with 1 million shares. SSI also mentioned that it will continue to implement the ESOP and plans to conduct a private placement in 2025-2026. In terms of financial performance, in Q1 2025, SSI achieved revenue of 2.106 trillion VND and pre-tax profit of 1.017 trillion VND, an increase of 13% year-on-year.
