On May 19, Thien Long Group (TLG) announced a merger plan with Phuong Nam Cultural Joint Stock Company (PNC) through its subsidiary, Tan Luc Mien Nam. PNC also sought approval to waive public tender from TLG. CEO Ms. Tran Phuong Nga stated that this deal represents an important strategic move committed to developing knowledge products for consumers. Experts believe this merger creates synergistic power since both brands serve the educational needs of Vietnamese people. TLG aims to further develop retail systems for lifestyle products and toys. Currently, TLG has launched CleverBox and Peektoy chains with 12 stores nationwide. TLG’s revenue target for 2025 is 4.2 trillion VND, a 12% increase compared to 2024, with a profit of 450 billion VND. TLG is committed not to engage in blind M&A and to maintain its core strategy.
