The Chairman of PVR Hanoi Investment Joint Stock Company, Mr. Bui Van Phu, has registered to sell all more than 2.7 million PVR shares (5.23%) for portfolio restructuring from May 23 to June 20, 2025. His wife, Mrs. Tran Thi Tham, is also set to divest 24% of her stake in PVR, equating to 12.5 million shares, between May 15 and June 13. If both transactions are completed, the couple will withdraw 29.28% of their investment in PVR, valued at approximately 15 billion VND. This move comes amid financial difficulties for PVR, which has temporarily halted its business operations for 2025 due to lack of funding. Previously, the company reported that its bank account was frozen due to a lawsuit with the Vietnam Petroleum Construction Corporation, leading to insufficient funds for operation. PVR recorded a net loss of approximately 383 million VND in Q1 2025 and has total assets of only 976 billion VND, primarily consisting of unsold inventory.
