Trump’s $1.5 Billion Golf Complex Project in Hung Yen to Break Ground Today, May 21

The urban, ecological tourism, and golf complex project in Hung Yen is set to break ground this afternoon (May 21). Proposed by the Trump Organization, the $1.5 billion investment was approved by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha. The project spans 990 hectares and includes four subdivisions with an estimated population of around 36,000, featuring a 54-hole golf course. The total investment is nearly 39.8 trillion VND, including compensation costs of about 4.1 trillion VND. The project is planned to be implemented from Q2 2025 to Q2 2029. The Trump Organization will develop the project through the Hung Yen Hospitality Services Company, a subsidiary of Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation.
