Vietnamese police have arrested a gang accused of defrauding investors through the Matrix Chain crypto scam, claiming nearly 394.2 million USDT. The operation is said to have attracted over 185,000 accounts, luring victims with promises of high returns.
The investigation lasted 200 days, involving elite police units. The funds collected were misappropriated, with only a small percentage going towards marketing, while the majority was spent lavishly by gang members.
