Real estate stocks surge, Novaland hits ceiling price with no sellers, what is happening?

The stock market is currently booming, with real estate stocks capturing significant attention. Novaland’s NVL stock hit the ceiling price amid vigorous trading, increasing over 70% in just two months, reaching its highest price in nearly a year. This recovery comes as legal obstacles in real estate are being removed, such as the recent approval of major projects in Dong Nai. The outlook for 2025 suggests a recovery in the real estate market, driven by the completion of legal frameworks from new laws, alongside low-interest rates and improved infrastructure. Apartments will remain the dominant choice, while low-rise houses in suburban areas will stand out. However, the market will exhibit distinct differentiation among developers based on experience and project implementation capabilities. Revenue and profit in the real estate sector are expected to improve in 2025 and 2026 as new projects finalize legal requirements and begin operations.
