Nam Long Investment Corporation (Ticker: NLG) has received a tax violation penalty decision from the II Tax Department. The company was found to have incorrect Value Added Tax and Corporate Income Tax filings, resulting in a tax retroactive collection of nearly 1.8 billion VND, alongside late payment fees over 33 million VND, and an administrative fine of more than 371 million VND. The total amount to be paid including penalties, retroactive tax, and interest sums up to nearly 2.2 billion VND. Additionally, Nam Long is required to adjust the deductible Value Added Tax downwards by about 4.4 million VND and increase losses from 2023 to 2024 by over 1 billion VND. Separately, Nam Long has announced a dividend payment plan for 2024, amounting to 192 billion VND with a rate of 4.99%. The record date for eligibility is June 6, 2025, and the payment date is expected to be June 30, 2025.
