Wintermute’s ‘CrimeEnjoyor’ to flag Ethereum’s wallet-draining contracts

Wintermute created ‘CrimeEnjoyor’ to provide alerts on malicious Ethereum contracts designed to auto-sweep user funds. This initiative aims to protect wallets from attacks exploiting the EIP-7702 upgrade.

Over 97% of EIP-7702 delegations have been linked to contracts using harmful code. Wintermute uses reverse engineering to convert malicious bytecode into human-readable Solidity, displaying clear warnings to users.

The warning system comes after significant losses in the Ethereum community due to compromised contracts. This tool is vital for enhancing security and helping users avoid malicious activities.
