On June 2, 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Decision No. 1543 to extend the antidumping investigation on galvanized steel products imported from China and South Korea for an additional two months, extending the investigation deadline to August 14, 2025. This decision was made to ensure a comprehensive and objective review of the case. Previously, on May 11, 2023, the Trade Remedies Authority received an investigation request from five domestic manufacturing companies, alleging that the imported goods sold at dumping prices had caused significant harm to the domestic manufacturing industry. This case is designated as AD19, and the products under investigation cover several specific HS codes related to galvanized steel.
