On June 4th, shares of Masan MeatLife (MML) and Dabaco (DBC) experienced significant growth. Specifically, DBC rose by 6.8% to reach 29,650 VND/share, while MML increased by 5.2% to 34,700 VND/share. This marks the fourth consecutive rise for MML and the third for DBC, with MML having nearly a 20% increase in June, boosting its market capitalization to nearly 11,500 billion VND, while DBC increased by 750 billion to 9,900 billion VND. This surge comes as major competitor C.P faces serious allegations regarding the sale of sick pork. An employee from C.P claimed that sick pigs were being sold, raising concerns in the community. C.P quickly denied these allegations and asserted that it follows inspection and handling protocols. The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has requested a verification of the related information, emphasizing the priority of maintaining food safety.
