Another Securities Company with Over 10,000 Billion VND Charter Capital is Coming

The State Securities Commission has issued a Certificate for the Ho Chi Minh City Securities Corporation (HSC – code HCM) to offer nearly 360 million shares, accounting for 50% of the total circulating shares. The expected offering price is 10,000 VND/share, aiming to raise nearly 3.6 trillion VND, to be used for margin lending and proprietary trading. HSC currently has a charter capital of 7.2 trillion VND, and if the sale is successful, this will increase to 10.8 trillion VND. As of Q1 2025, margin debts reached 20.4 trillion VND, making the capital increase essential for loan expansion. HCM shares currently trade at 26,800 VND/share, down nearly 6% since the beginning of the year. On June 6, HSC will pay a second dividend for 2024 at a rate of 4%, totaling 9% for the year. HSC aims for revenue of 4.438 trillion VND in 2025, an increase of 34%. Despite a 41% rise in costs, pre-tax profit is expected to reach 1.602 trillion VND, a 24% increase.
