At the HAGL annual general meeting on June 6, 2025, Bau Duc announced that the company would cultivate an additional 2,000 hectares of robusta coffee and 2,000 hectares of mulberry to enhance production and exports. HAGL aims for a total revenue of 5,514 billion VND and after-tax profit of 1,114 billion VND in 2025. During the meeting, Bau Duc also spoke about issuing 210 million shares to convert debt bonds to alleviate the company’s financial burden, while the plan to expand banana planting and restart pig farming has been postponed due to limited funding. HAGL is shifting its investment focus to high-value crops and developing its export system, especially to major markets like China, Japan, and South Korea. Bau Duc emphasized that HAGL has maintained good control over product quality and adhered to food safety regulations.
