Kinh Bắc (KBC) spends 5 million USD on golf brand licensing fee from President Trump

KBC has spent 5 million USD to pay for a brand licensing fee from President Trump for the construction of a hotel and golf complex in Hung Yen, Vietnam. According to Trump’s personal financial disclosure, this revenue is recorded from a licensing agreement with Hung Yen Hospitality Company, a member of KBC. This project has a total investment of about 1.5 billion USD, aiming to develop an urban and tourism complex. DT Marks Vietnam LLC, the brand management entity, will receive this fee even though it has not fully recognized it due to a receivable of 4 million USD. Statistics show that Hung Yen attracted approximately 530 million USD in FDI in the early year, but the scale of the Trump International Hung Yen golf complex contributes significantly to investment attraction. KBC will also hold a shareholders’ meeting at the end of June to discuss transactions related to this project.
