Global coordination lacking in monetary policy, says former PBoC chief

Zhou Xiaochuan stressed the necessity for a unified global monetary policy, noting the absence of an overseeing institution or consensus in current systems.

He warned that a lack of coordination could lead to unpredictable economic consequences, particularly affecting emerging markets.

Despite Zhou’s warnings, there were no immediate market reactions, indicating stable conditions in both cryptocurrency and traditional markets.
