The FSC seeks to analyze existing fee structures and methods of charging, driven by concerns that domestic platforms may impose higher fees than foreign ones. This initiative responds to the president’s 2023 campaign promise to reduce trading costs.
The FSC has yet to establish a target commission rate but will base future policies on a comparative analysis of domestic and international fees alongside user preferences.
