After contributing 70 million shares to VinEnergo, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong continues to raise capital for VinSpeed with tens of millions of VIC shares

On June 18, Pham Nhat Vuong transferred over 70.6 million VIC shares to VinEnergo, raising his total ownership there to 105.6 million shares, equivalent to 2.72% of Vingroup’s capital. This transaction was valued at 706.4 billion VND. Simultaneously, he also registered to transfer nearly 88 million VIC shares to VinSpeed, increasing his total shares held at VinSpeed to 135.6 million, approximately 3.50% of Vingroup’s capital, with a value of 875.6 billion VND. VinEnergo, newly established in 2025, operates in the energy sector, and is expected to collaborate with Vingroup on the LNG Hai Phong thermal power plant from 2025 to 2030. VinSpeed is working on the North-South high-speed railway project with a total investment of about 1.6 million billion VND.
