The Investment Corporation The Gioi Di Dong (stock code MWG) announced that it will pay a cash dividend for 2024 at a rate of 10%, which is equivalent to 1,000 VND/share, on August 8, 2025. The total amount for this dividend payment is estimated at 1,479.7 billion VND for nearly 1.479 billion shares currently outstanding. Chairman Nguyen Duc Tai will receive about 32.4 billion VND for 32.4 million shares held; the Retail Investment Consulting Company, also chaired by Tai, will receive 153.4 billion VND for 153.4 million shares. Mr. Tran Huy Thanh Tung, former Board Member, will receive 11.13 billion VND from 11.13 million shares. Tung also has the Tran Huy Investment Consulting Company owning 32.26 million shares, estimated at 32.26 billion VND. In addition, Mr. Robert Alan Willett, a non-executive board member, will receive 6.9 billion VND; Dang Minh Luom and Doan Van Hieu Em will receive 2.2 billion VND and 2.6 billion VND respectively. Meanwhile, The Gioi Di Dong recently repurchased 324,161 treasury shares to recall ESOP shares from former employees.
