Vietnam Trì Paper Joint Stock Company (GVT) will close the shareholder list on July 15 to pay dividends for 2024 at a rate of 33%, equivalent to 3,300 VND per share. The total cost for this payment is about 38 billion VND. Earlier, in January 2025, GVT paid an interim dividend of 25%, bringing the total dividend rate to 58%, a record high in the company’s history. GVT has a tradition of high and stable dividend payments, with the Vietnam Paper Corporation being the largest shareholder owning 29% of the shares. In 2024, GVT’s revenue is expected to reach approximately 1.8 trillion VND, a 9% increase, and pre-tax profit is expected to rise 232% to 139 billion VND. The company also plans to produce over 160,000 tons of paper in 2025 and dividends exceeding 35%. However, GVT’s stock trading activity is currently sluggish, with prices hovering around 78,000 VND/share.
