Many Enterprises Report Pre-Tax Earnings in Billions in the First Half of the Year

Many listed companies have reported favorable business results for Q2 2025. Dabaco Vietnam Group (DBC) estimates a revenue of 12,537 billion VND in six months, with a record after-tax profit of 1,013 billion, exceeding the annual plan due to high hog prices. Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group (HAG) plans to adjust its profit target to 2,500 billion VND thanks to unusual income. In the aviation sector, Sasco (SAS) estimates a revenue of 1,531 billion VND with a profit of over 280 billion. Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) estimates a revenue of 11,700 billion VND but faces substantial currency losses. Vietnam Airlines (HVN) reports about 4,000 billion VND pre-tax profit. The textile sector also sees growth, with Vinatex (VGT) achieving 9,035 billion VND and TNG reaching 4,073 billion VND, both completing parts of their annual plans. Vietnam Rubber Group (GVR) achieves 11,500 billion VND in revenue, while Gemadept (GMD) records 2,760 billion VND, with a profit of 1,100 billion VND.
