Masan and its subsidiaries seek to borrow 300 million USD

Masan Group Corp (MSN) has approved a loan agreement with HSBC Singapore for up to 133.5 million USD. Its subsidiary, The Sherpa, signed a separate loan agreement for up to 166.5 million USD with an option to borrow an additional 50 million USD, with Masan guaranteeing payment obligations. Executives including Nguyen Dang Quang have been authorized to decide on loan terms and usage. Additionally, Masan plans to issue 7.6 million ESOP shares, about 0.5% of its outstanding shares, to outstanding employees to strengthen its capital, at a price of 10,000 VND per share, expected to raise over 75.6 billion VND. This issuance is planned for 2025 or early 2026.
