DEA, FBI bust Sinaloa cartel, confiscate $10 million in cryptocurrency

The Drug Enforcement Administration and FBI confiscated the cryptocurrency during a series of operations in Miami. The ongoing crackdown has also resulted in the seizure of 44 million fentanyl pills and large quantities of other drugs across various states.

DEA Acting Administrator Robert Murphy highlighted the agency’s commitment to dismantling drug trafficking networks. The Sinaloa cartel is classified by the US government as a significant global drug trafficking organization, underscoring the urgency of these operations.
